Arches give physical form to the natural shape of the rainbow elusively found in nature. This set of 3 arches together as a sculpture bring our spirits back down to Earth and give us the grounding of heavy stone. As we walk in our journeys, arches remind us to step firmly and bring our dreams into reality.

Soapstone, or kisii stone (named for the region where it is found), is a soft, smooth stone. Artisans in Kenya use a wet-sanding technique to carve these sculptures. Light finish-each sculpture will show its own highlights of the grain of the stone.
