These model tributes represent electric Duane's signature guitars he has played before millions of fans during his career and influenced multiple generations of players around the world.
HISTORY OF THE DUANE ALLMAN 1957 GIBSON GOLDTOP
Duane purchased the original 1957 Gibson Goldtop Les Paul with no pick guard & two PAF humbucker pickups in 1969. It was used live & on the ABB 1969 debut & 1970 Idlewild South albums. As a session musician Duane reportedly played this guitar on 1969 – 1970 seminal recordings with Boz Scaggs, Aretha Franklin, Wilson Pickett, Ronnie Hawkins, Johnny Jenkins, Lulu, John Hammond, Delaney & Bonnie & the Derek & the Dominos historic Layla album.
AXE HEAVEN® is the originator of handcrafted miniature guitars. Now, we are recreating the same Gibson high level of craft and quality in each miniature.
This miniature replica model honors the Holy Grail of electric guitars. The stain on this handcrafted collectible is an amazing reproduction of the original solid body instrument.
Each AXE HEAVEN® miniature replica guitar is 1:4 scale and is individually handcrafted from solid wood, with metal tuning keys.
Each guitar model is approximately 10” in length and comes complete with a high-quality miniature adjustable A-frame stand and a gold foil stamped Gibson by AXE HEAVEN® guitar case gift box.
