The Mosaic Fray Patch Kantha Throw is a handmade textile featuring a patchwork of recycled vintage silk and cotton saris. Each throw is constructed using the traditional kantha embroidery technique, characterized by running stitches. The frayed edges of the patches are intentionally left to fray further, contributing to the textile's organic texture. The throw is layered with natural silk and cotton for comfort. It is crafted by women artisans in Bengal, with each piece taking approximately three months to complete.
