Vegware 10-inch bagasse clamshells are compostable hinged takeaway boxes ideal for hot or cold foods in cafes, food trucks, catering, and quick-service operations. Made from reclaimed sugarcane fiber (bagasse), a by-product left after juice extraction, these containers are tree-free, sturdy, and eco-friendly. The natural bagasse material ensures hot food won’t sweat, keeping meals crisp while offering excellent thermal performance from 5ºF to 428ºF. Freezer and microwave safe, these clamshells are a practical alternative to Styrofoam and other single-use plastics. They are certified for commercial composting where facilities exist.
