Damascus is one of the interpretations by Funky Gallo Toiletries. We are used to appreciating the rose as the protagonist of austere and cold accords, both masculine and feminine. Damascus, on the other hand, is an accord in which the rose meets saffron and softens; both noble, instead of stiffening, they create a perfect combination in which there is no true protagonist. Damascus is a balanced story, with a quick prologue that creates curiosity, a plot that fully tells this encounter between flowers and the crimson spice, and an epilogue in which saffron gives way to patchouli and a sandalwood
