Rooted in the quiet beauty of raw clay and soft form, the Monolith Match Holders and Strikers are sculpted entirely by hand—each one a small gesture of presence and permanence. Designed to cradle strike anywhere matches, their organic silhouettes echo the great mesas and monoliths of the desert, at a small scale fit for interior surfaces. Every part of the surface is strik-eable, for a moment of raw chemistry, mimicking the light, acrid sting of desert air. Each piece is handmade in Brooklyn — subtle variations in form are part of their character.
