The Mosaic Fray Patch Kantha Throw is a textile crafted from recycled vintage silk and cotton saris. It features a patchwork of frayed-edge squares, assembled using the traditional kantha embroidery technique. Each throw is hand-stitched by women artisans in Bengal, a process that takes approximately three months to complete. The construction involves four layers of fabric, with tonal thread stitching deliberately leaving edges to fray for an organic texture. The resulting surface has a puckered appearance from the extensive hand-stitching. This throw measures 72" x 55" (183 cm x 139 cm).
