Rooted in the intersecting roasting and grilling traditions of India, the Arabian Peninsula, and East Africa, this deeply aromatic Tandoori blend brings warmth, color, and savory complexity to everything it touches. It shines in rubs and marinades for roasted or grilled meats and vegetables, and adds incredible depth to curries and stews, especially when paired with tomatoes or yogurt.
We source this blend from a cooperative of smallholder farmers on the Zanzibar Islands off the eastern coast of Tanzania. Many of these families have been growing spices for generations, tending to the same groves that produce our Cinnamon Verum, Pemba Cloves, and Stone Nutmeg. The result is a fresh, beautifully balanced blend that reflects centuries of spice tradition.
