The synthetic fibre used for the tuft is the Technopolymer PBT manufactured by BASF with low moisture absorption and moderate impact and rubbing resistance.
The tuft, composed of high-density synthetic fibre, has excellent mechanical rigidity and excellent resistance to chemical and thermal agents (up to 230 degrees centigrade).
